Rosalia

Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the fringes of pop and traditional music. Pepe Habichuela has said that her vocals as smooth, elegant and sharp while also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. In March 2022 the set was launched following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing on her own on the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that was awarded the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
